02 NCAC 48A .0202          PROTECTION FROM AND ABATEMENT OF BEE DISEASES

(a)  The State Apiarist shall enforce the law, regulations, and quarantines and clean‑up areas to protect honeybees in North Carolina from diseases and disorders.

(b)  The State Apiarist may institute management practices, utilizing fumigations, chemotherapy, and destruction of diseased articles to protect honeybees in North Carolina from diseases and disorders.
