02 NCAC 48A .0208          LOCATION OF BEES

(a)  The statement as specified in 2 NCAC 48A .0207(b) regarding where bees are to be located in North Carolina must be in sufficient detail to enable location of the bees without difficulty.

(b)  Honeybees requiring an entry permit which are moved into North Carolina from other states or countries are hereby placed under postentry quarantine for a period of one year after entry.  These bees shall not be moved from the initial location to other locations in North Carolina while under quarantine until permission has been obtained from the State Apiarist.
