02 NCAC 48A .0222          CERTIFICATION OF POLLINATION CONDITIONS

(a)  Pollination conditions are monitored throughout the state. Abundance of honeybees and other insect pollinators and their effectiveness are checked.

(b)  At the request of either beekeeper or grower renting bees for pollination, and with knowledge of both parties, inspections for colony strength and condition of bees rented or provided for pollination will be made and certification of findings will be available to either or both parties.
