10a NCAC 01D .0101       VOLUNTEER SERVICES PROGRAM

The departmental Volunteer Services Program was established to provide assistance in program development, including recruitment, screening, supervision, evaluation, and recognition of volunteers, through training of staff in departmental divisions, institutions, and county agencies.  It is also designed to promote the creative utilization of volunteers in all divisions of the department as appropriate.
